The U.S. Green Building Council is committed to a prosperous and sustainable future through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings. Our community of leaders is working to make green buildings available to everyone within a generation.
ICC – International Code Council The International Code Council is a member-focused association dedicated to helping the building safety community and construction industry provide safe, sustainable and affordable construction through the development of codes and standards used in the design, build and compliance process. Most U.S. communities and many global markets choose the International Codes.
GreenSpec The key component of any green project is you, the design/build professional. GreenSpec provides you with independent research to assess which top performing green products can help turn a good building into a great one.
BBA – British Board or Agrement (Accredited) The BBA is the UK’s major authority offering approval and certification services to manufacturers and installers supplying the construction industry. BBA Approval is recognised by building control, government departments, architects, local authorities, specifiers, and industry insurers like the NHBC.
Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance The CHTA is a national organization that promotes Canadian hemp and hemp products globally. Established in 2003 the Alliance represents those involved in Canada’s hemp industry. Members include; farmers, processors, manufacturers, researchers, entrepreneurs and marketers.
The Housing Industry Association the voice of Australia’s home building industry. The Housing Industry Association is Australia’s largest residential building organisation. Members include builders, trade contractors, design professionals, kitchen and bathroom specialists, manufacturers and suppliers. It is the intention of the HIA to take all necessary steps to assure consumer confidence in hemp products. Display of the HIA Membership insignia in business promotion and advertising is a mark of prestige.
Dwell on Design While a lot of magazines show homes as pure space, so isolated from the particulars of geography or daily life that they might as well be constructed on a Hollywood sound stage, we think that the connections to society, place and human experience—call it context—are exactly what make good architecture great. Those connections are also what makes architecture interesting to people who aren’t architects.
U.S. Green Building Council – Illinois Chapter The Illinois Chapter’s 1,400-plus members represent the entire spectrum of Illinois’ green building community. We welcome real estate professions, architects, engineers, designers, contractors, product manufacturers, state and local government officials, homebuilders, homeowners, and anyone interested in supporting our mission.
BRE – Building Research Establishment (Accredited) The BRE Group (BRE and BRE Global) has a history stretching back over 90 years, which has seen the bringing together of a number of separate research, testing and approvals organisations during that time.
Local Authority Building Control (Accredited) LABC is a member organization representing local authority building control in England and Wales. We promote the design and construction of safe, accessible, environmentally efficient buildings that comply with the Building Regulations.
